iii: junior class officers Standing: Sharon Brumbaugh, Secretary, Jill Walker, Treasurer, Diane Deal. Vice Presi dent. Seated: Darlene Grier, President. It was a bright, sunny morning in September, 1952, as we ventured into our first year ofhigh school. As freshmen, we had many things to leam, but as time passed, we learned to work together. With the advice of Mr. Adkins and under the leadership of Don Ridgwey, we soon had the title of the richest freshman class ever at Randolph. We wrote the first class constitution, and were the first freshman class to sponsor a dance. All of these things faded into the past as we were SOPHOMORES! Once again things started to perk. We were very eager to get ahead, and with the help of Miss Miller and Mr. Jepsen, our activities grew more and more. Paul Herr was now president and we began organizing many different things. To make the treasury swell a little more, we sponsored our first big dance, Frosted Fantasy, but soon we were choosing our class rings, and now we are IUNIORSI It is 1955 and we are growing up fast. We have proof of this by the things we have been doing. Our first class play, 'January Thaw, was termed the best by all who saw it. Magazine sales, Cupid's Capers, and last but not least, the beautiful Junior-Senior Prom are all memories that will last forever. But let us not forget our president, Darlene Grier, and our advisors, Mrs. Brumbaugh and MI. Cultice, who led us through another year safely. This leads up to the fact that we will soon be seniors with bigger and better ideas, so be on the alert for the V CLASS OF '56
