SOP!-IOMORE CLASS OFFICERS Left to right: Pat Ullery, Treasurer, Mitzi Schroeder, President, Marilyn Brumbaugh, Secretary, Dan Baker, Vice President, Last year when Mr. Barger became our keeper, he laid in a stock of headache pills. That really proved prophetic because he had charged to him, ninety some potential headaches. Under our invincible fthat's what he saidy leader, Bruce Motter, bake sales. paper drives, and other campaigns ended successfully. The class party was the only depletion of our treasury so our finances suffered only slightly. Genevieve Burroughs was second in command, and she proved capable under fire, The guardian of the Freshman Fort Knox was Judy Deeter, Our scribbler of the minutes was Mitzi Schroeder. We rebounded from the summer vacation into the rooms of Miss Corwin and Miss Miller, and later Mr, Lancaster, who took Miss Corwin's place. They had talked with Mr, Barger and were equipped like keepers of the U. S, arsenal, When the smoke of our election cleared, Mitzi Schroeder was our president, Dan Baker had snitched the title of vice president, Marilyn Brumbaugh was chained to a secretary's desk, and Pat Ullery had been filibustered into a treasurer's job, Money-making projects started again, These included two of the most profitable paper drives we've had, Our dance, The Harvest Moon Hop, would be classified as a success by all who attended. After each project our financial status rose. If the rapid swelling of our treasury continues, we will have no fear of losing our trip to Washington as Seniors in '55, You'll be hearing more next year from the CLASS OF '55
