if - g SENIOR CLASS PROPHECYQ My, it's nice to sit and read the newspaper and reminisce after a long day's work. Wanda's experience as editor of our annual is helping her greatly now. She is editor of our daily newspaper. I notice a big ad in the advertising section for the Kern Masonry- Construction Company. Jim built the constructions on the air field where Bob Dixon is a pilot for rocket ships and Betty Blackburn is stewardess. There's another news item about that billionaire, Dave Palsgrove. He always had a knack for making money in school, Dale Landes is head engineer in his company. Don Mayer was Johnny-on-the-Spot by taking pictures of that outstanding stock car driver, Pat Fitch, doing her daring car sommersaults. Don has taken over Powell Studios and is doing a thriving business. Gracious, those temperamental Broadway actresses are feuding again. It seems as though Sharon Amend and Io Chrisman can't agree. Their lawyer, Ray Mitchell, will soon get rich from all their law suits. It seems so wonderful that a lot of the Class of '53 are making the news. Take for instance. the new hospital has just been completed and it is practically staffed with all '53 graduates. Nancy Blome is head doctor of the children's ward, and Ioretta Barr is the Supervisor of Ward A, Jo Dyke and Pat Jay are in Timbucktoo as representative nurses from the United States. Pat Kem and Jo Denlinger have practices in Englewood and Clay- ton. They are also part-time teachers at the hospital. Gay Fravert is the head psychiatrist in her department. Ewonder what's on television tonight. Bob Mills is announcing the Olympic games. He will interview the brilliant American coach, Larry Binkley, and the All American star. Jack Iosselyn. Sylvia Waymire will tell bedtime stories to the children at eight- thirty. She always had such a soft and sweet voice. America's most popular disc jockey, Jo Coleman, is presenting a musical show with such famous names as Shirlie Sparks, the blues singer, and dancer: Roger Weaver. who took over the Arthur Murray studios. The Brinker dance band was rated No. 1 in the country this year. Charlene always played the trumpet in school. Jerry Collins, the musical arranger for Spike Jones, will be there also. X Lois Miller owns a big chain of restaurants and Bill Kelley is the head chef. How well I remember that Bill always liked food! Mark Brooks is entering the Indianapolis 500 for the tenth time. He has been first place winner ever since his first race. Of course, he has the two best mechanics in the business-Bill Border. and Ronnie Harper. X fl l
