IN MEMORIAM As a token of our profound esteem and in recognition of her untiring devotion to Randolph- Henry we dedicate this space to the memory of Mrs. Elizabeth Lee Priddy—a truly great teacher. Mrs. Priddy was a real scholar, but scholarship alone does not make a great teacher. There must be rich spiritual life together with the ability to share with others to make the great teacher. A really great teacher must have the ability to fan into a glow the waning spark of ambition and to cause boys and girls to want to be worthwhile in life. We shall ever be grateful to her for implant¬ ing within us higher ideals, a deeper sense of self- respect, and greater self-reliance.
