We are sorry to disembark, partly because some of us have been sailing so long, partly from a disinterested motiveg because we do not understand how the rest of the fleet can survive, without us to benz! down the surging billows and quiet the waters before them. But we know that our efforts have been appreciated by all who have thus depended upon us, and that they will carefully follow the advice we leave behind us, and we derive some comfort from that.
