BIIARII 0F EDUCATIIIN Being a member of the Board of Education entails many more responsibilities than most of us realize. Randolph is forttmate to have six competent men and women to make up its board. Behind the scenes, the board does many things we hardly ever think of. They carefully select the teachers who guided us through school, they supervise the financial affairs of the school, select our textbooks, and enlarge our scholastic schedule with edu- cational and entertaining programs. These are only a few of their tasks. Although we students have only a remote idea of the work they must do and decisions they must make, we do appreciate all their efforts which really are on our behalf, and take this opportunity to publicly thank them. 6
