SABINE Ghanges Hands . . . On the morning of 1 October 1967 Captain C. H. Yeagle, USN, relieved Captain R. T. Stephens, USN, as Commanding Officer of the oiler SABINE during shipboard ceremonies. What made this ceremony unique was the fact that it took place at sea when the oiler was alongside the RANDOLPH. Following the ceremony the hoses were run over and fuel was transferred.
