The crew at the Randolph also found time to mingle with royalty during their Caribbean cruise. Royalty, ln this case, came in the form at Andre P. Orlowshi, seamen apprentice labovel, a young French immigrant with a royal title that goes back more than a hun- dred years. Andre is the son at Count Stanislaw Drlowski, direct descendent ot tive generations at French and Italian bluebloods. l'le reported aboard the Randolph as a drattee and is now serving in the Supply Department. A group at scouts gather around a crewmember as he explains the pur- pose ond functions ot the tail-hook on the Douglas Skyraider attack plane. The Randolph has always extended the fullest cooperation to civic and youth organizations that requested permission to visit the ship. CDR. J. W. McManus congratulates one of the many crew members that have reenlisted in recent months aboard the Randolph. The Executive Officer has made it a policy to per- sonally welcome each reenlistee into the Navy for another cruise. Photo- graphs are taken and stories are sent to the man's hometown newspapers.
