By expanding and modernizing the annual this year, our staff has attempted to bring Randleman High up with the present trends in high school yearbooks. The changes have been numerous and perhaps even drastic in some cases, but as it has been said before it is only through change that you are able to grow. In changing the RENDEZVOUS it has involved more time and work for all who have worked on it. I would like to express my thanks to the entire staff who not only spent many nights but who also gave up weekends to make publication of this book possible. To the faculty and students, “thank you” for your time, patience, and understanding. I would like to give a special “thank you” to Gary Hinshaw, who spent weeks to provide the numerous photo- graphs that went into making of our 1969 RENDEZVOUS. With- out his time and talents I’m sure this yearbook would not have been possible. To Euvona Bach, my assistant editor, I would like to express my thanks for all the problems and complaints she has so willingly endured. A very special “thank you” goes to Mr. Thomas Smith, our advisor. Mr. Smith has truly been a help in changing the yearbook this year and in com ing up with new ideas. He has advised us and provided ideas when all our minds were blank, but yet left the decisions to the students. For your presence, trust, and con- fidence, “thank you”, Mr. Smith. The staff has truly worked to change, hopefully to improve, the RENDEZVOUS in hopes to provide the students with new ideas in these changing times. We hope that the changes will be welcomed with an open mind and given careful thought and consideration.
