The Language Department at Randleman High provides the background that every person needs to take his place in life. From the simplest grammar to the heart of Shakespearean drama the En glish language is brought to life for each student, individually. Through the diligent teaching of the French lan- guage a new doorway is opened to students to the world outside of the United States. The study of language whether it be English or French gives the student more power to learn by giving him the basic tool with which to work--the ability to read and write. Mrs. Ann Roberts
