About Us And here we have the ' Mona Lisa ' by Michelangelo MR. J. W. HINES MRS. LUCRE NEWLIN Mrs. Carter, who teaches English IV and Journalism, gives Seniors a thorough going over before college. A lover of baby chicks and of Shakespeare, she is a teacher to whom we owe much. Miss Gallimore instructs the Freshmen in the ir first attempt at high school English. Devoting her time not only to just English, her art classes have become famous. The favorite of the Seniors, although she teaches English III, is Miss Gray. Her concern for us, as well as her interesting classes mark her as a wonderful teacher. Mr. Hines is a teacher who works hard for his students. Teaching French I and II, he is well-known around the school. Mrs. Newlin devotes most of her time to the Soph¬ omores and English II. However, she finds time to sponsor our annual, the RENDEZVOUS. It is only by her advice and concern that the annual is published. 29
