Studying civics and geography under MR. LINEBERRY enables us to get a clearer understanding of modern society. He includes teaching French and Drivers ' Education in his curric¬ ula. Striving to aid her students in building stronger bodies through ex¬ ercise, MISS HOHN, teacher of girls ' physical education, is a new asset to our athletic program. She also teaches general science and biology, is spon¬ sor of the cheerleaders, co-sponsor of the Monogram Club, and coaches the Junior Varsity girls ' basketball team. education in its fullest sense Serving as an economics and American history teacher, MR. WATSON occupies a worthy place on jj our faculty. In addition to teaching I these courses, he is the Pep Club j sponsor, assistant football coach, and II coach of the track team. MRS, NEWLIN devotes a great deal of her time in striving to teach her students the basic structure of English grammar and the funda¬ mentals of literature. Her assistance is greatly appreciated by the staff of the yearbook, the 1965 RENDEZ¬ VOUS. We owe a great deal of appreci¬ ation to the guidance and consider¬ ation of MR. WALL for preparing us for our various professions. Interest in ages past come alive in his world history and American history classes.

The versatile MRS. CARTER directs the debating team and the publishing of the Tiger Tales in her journalism class. As sponsor of the Senior class, she advises and directs our various activities including the Senior Play. As well as being a devoted English teacher, Mrs. Carter is also sponsor of the Student Council. The Phys. Ed. II boys enjoy an invigorating game of basketball. As coach of the girls ' bas¬ ketball team, the baseball team, assistant coach of our football squad, and sponsor of the Monogram Club, MR. BROOKSHIRE contributes much as Athletic Director of Randle- man High School. This year, besides his physical education classes, he teaches a course in general math. Their goal After years of experience in coi struction work, MR. DANIELS lends 1 talents to the new trades and indust class. His jovial and accommodatii attitude makes him very popular. Combining her pleasant personality with her commer¬ cial experience, MRS. BUNT¬ ING, who teaches business law, general business, secretarial office practice, and typing, willingly offers her help to her students and to the seniors whom she sponsors. 16
