One of our new faculty members, MR, WILSON, shows that he enjoys his profession because he not only teaches regular sessions, but also summer courses.This year atR.H.S. he is teaching science, refresher arithmetic, and civics. One of the new faculty members, MISS GALLIMORE, uses her knowl¬ edge obtained from U.N.C.-G. in inspiring her students. She devotes most of her time to the freshmen in her English classes. receive . . . gratification unequalled. Dissecting frogs and the study of biology are not the only aspects of MR. CAUSEY ' S scientific attributes. With his knowledge of chemistry, he is our Camera Club sponsor. In the summer he works diligently with the headaches and problems of making out the class schedules. In the math department, MRS. JONES, a new member of the IV team, enjoys her work as general math and algebra teacher. We are pleased to have her working with our Beta Club. An experimental course has been introduced to Randleman High under the instruction of MR. HOWELL. The future farmers at R. H. S. enjoy his participation as their sponsor. 15

In taking care of the agriculture boys, MR. FULK teaches all classes in agriculture and shop. He does a splen¬ did job of preparing our future farmers. ▼ ■»W ' i wmn ■JM it A ’ i- Home Economics girls learn the various aspects of homemaking. Teachers MRS. PHELPS, home eco¬ nomics instructor, has done a fine job in preparing our girls for their future careers as homemakers and mothers. She is also noted for her guidance and assistance as sponsor of the F. H. A. MR.CORDER ' S interest in science enables him to create in his young scientists a better awareness of physics and chemistry. Mr. C order also teaches algebra..His interests include sponsoring the juniors and the Randlelettes. Our language department is headed by a very capable man, MR. HINES. His understanding of languages enables him to manage our Junior Classical League and French Club. 14

The versatile MRS. CARTER directs the debating team and the publishing of the Tiger Tales in her journalism class. As sponsor of the Senior class, she advises and directs our various activities including the Senior Play. As well as being a devoted English teacher, Mrs. Carter is also sponsor of the Student Council. The Phys. Ed. II boys enjoy an invigorating game of basketball. As coach of the girls ' bas¬ ketball team, the baseball team, assistant coach of our football squad, and sponsor of the Monogram Club, MR. BROOKSHIRE contributes much as Athletic Director of Randle- man High School. This year, besides his physical education classes, he teaches a course in general math. Their goal After years of experience in coi struction work, MR. DANIELS lends 1 talents to the new trades and indust class. His jovial and accommodatii attitude makes him very popular. Combining her pleasant personality with her commer¬ cial experience, MRS. BUNT¬ ING, who teaches business law, general business, secretarial office practice, and typing, willingly offers her help to her students and to the seniors whom she sponsors. 16
