Because the future rightfully belongs to those who prepare for it, the seniors rest assured that theirs will be spangled with the silver of their hopes and dreams, even as their past has been flecked with the gold of their memories. Senior J. M. Fulk has completed exceptional fulfill¬ ment of his position as left guard. R. H. S. was very for¬ tunate indeed to have J.M. on the football squad for the past 3 years. Senior end, David Ford, because of his performance throughout the season, was chosen as all-conference. David was the only player to pick up a safety during the entire season. Senior Mickey Rollins played this past season in the tackle position. He proved to be most helpful in the R. H. S. line. Junior Mike Hinshaw substituted as quarterback. Paul Parrish, junior tackle, held the opponents back to permit Randleman to break through. As a senior re¬ turning next fall, Paul will become a very vital player for the squad. Substituting in the center for the R.H. S. team was junior Bobby McCaskill. Bobby was responsible for the many snaps which were kicked for extra points to add to our score. Despite the plans and activi¬ ties unnumbered which have come to them the past three years, the anticipation with which they await the forth¬ coming year can not be suppressed. The graduates of 1967, the sophomore class, have likewise behind them a host of events long to be remem¬ bered. But the future promises of things to come which are only more exciting and more challenging. The graduates of 1968, the freshman class, have just embarked upon the beginning of a time in their lives which will prove to be of much co nsequence to them in every respect. As the next three years unfold, they will be participants of myriad opportunities which will leave little to be desired. 85 Class Officers: Sammy Greeson, President; Jolene Johnson, Vice-President; Sandra Batson, Secretary-Treasurer; Jane Brookshire, Reporter.
