Class History Asclass hlstortan, lwould ltketo take you back into the past and bring to your memory some of the good times, hardshtps, and trtumphants we have had In our school days at Randleman Hugh In the fall of 54 the halls were filled with many strange faces, and by the expressions they woreand their actions you could easily denotethatthey were freshmen We were divided into three homerooms With Mr Causey, Miss Dixon, and Mr Neal as our sponsors, we had a very successful freshman year, and much fun lotntng clubs and making new friends Asthe time passes we are back agatn, feeling a little superior at being called sophomores Mess Cox and Mr Bright helped usto haveareal Interesting year, ending ll'WIl'l1 two class parties at Duck Brown s cabin and at Hugh Po1ntCtty Lake school year was filled with many unforgettable times the banquet, class parties, and also the protects we had to raise money Members of the class enloyed the Beta c o nventton an Asheville others the FBLA convention tn Winston Salem As the year came to a close, we took part tn the graduation exercises We had worked hard, had lots of fun, and were almost sorry that our tumor year was behind us Full of enthusiasm, we came back to begun our last school year, proudly wearing the name of seniors With the help of our sponsors, Mass Holladay and Mrs Swtggett, we elected Class officers, annual staff and superlattves We chose our mascots, colors, and flower Asthettme passed quickly, everyone grew excited about the Washington trip, the Junior Senior banquet, the publication ofthe annual and again the Beta and FBLA conventions The most important of events was graduation, which brought our school daystoan end Our school days have been one important step In our lives, but we should not let tt bethe last Although we wall never forgetourdaysat Randleman Hugh, let us not be sorry they are over, but look ahead to see what the future has for us and what we have for the future JANE FARLOW Historian Although not yet the oldest in school, we felt big as juniors.
