E 5 E3 E 3 l-'I-'F-'I-'I-' Physical Ed Glee Club Student Council Class Off'cer Y Teens One Act Plays Sextette Class Plays Paper Staff vw? ,..nf LOIS TRUSSELL Physical Ed Glee Club Student Council Class Officer Y Teens Class Plays One Act Plays Paper Staff ff -or fats' 4 -4-1 BILL TRUSSELL Physical Ed Football Basketball Track Student Council Glee Club Class Plays One Act Play Kays Class Officer Paper Staff Class Histor In l9h7 there were eight green Freshmen enrolled in the Randall Rural High School They were as follows Lois Trussell, Beverly Wahin, Marguerite Hoel, Lyle Mahin, Robert Stinson, Bill Trussell, Harold Purcell, and Buddy Redmond The Hresident was Robert Stinson Our project this year was foods The same eight students made up our class throughout our High School Career Our sponsor was Ruth Hanna The next year we enrolled as Sophomores, eager to prove that we reren't quite as green as when we were Freshmen The president this year was Marguerite Hoel The project was the same as we had as Freshmen, the food project Our spon or this year was Mrs Grimes The third year we enrolled as, what we thought were, the all important Juniors Our president this year was Lois Trussell Our project for this year was the selling of magazines We presented our Junior Play the last of November which was entltled, Room No 13 The theme we choose for the Junior and Senior Banquet was, nThe llght of SR Sl Our sponsor was Mr Brady In the fall of 1951 we enrolled for the last year of our High School Career Our president was Harold Purcell Our project was pop For our sponsor we again choose Mr Brady Ne presented our Senior Play in the spring We eight pupils were proud to be graduates of the Randall Rural High School Class Prophecy In the spring of 1962 we decided to see how many of the 1952 Senlors we could locate Since we had no idea where to flnd them, we locate Upon arriving in Wichita, we dec1ded we would tour the Boeing Air Craft Factory As we were leavlng the factory, we met Charles Elliott who invitec us to his new home for lunch Arriving at his home, we found none other than the former Beverly Mahin and their two charming children After leaving Wichita, we decided to continue on south to Texas Since it was Sunday morning when we arrived in Dallas, we decided to attend Church Ne had previously heard of the new Assembly of God Church which was belng built in Dallas so decided to vlsit it Enter ing the Church, we were surprised to see that the minister was our former schoolmate, harold Purcell Our Journey on to California was very pleasant but unadventure one Arriving in San Francisco we decided to cross the Golden Cate Bridle As we stopped to pay the toll, we were amazed to see that the toll collector was our old friend, Bill Trussell While collecting the fee, e invited us to his hone Arriving at his home, we were aston ished to find that he was married to the former Joyce Rudisill After playing with tdeir adorable twins, Judy and Jerry, we bade them fare well and continued on our trip Our next stop was at Cheyenne, Wyoning Some of us decided we would l1ke to go ueer hunting while we were here in Wyoming We went 1nto a gun shop to purchase our guns and there we sav Lyle Vahin also purchasing a new gun Lyle informed us that he was still dear hunting with no prospects, but still hoping 5 A . : 0 U I I O U . 1 . . O We nad heard that the scenery around the Great Lakes was v ry beautlful in the springtlme, so we decided we would f'nd out for our selves 'e wanted to take a boat ride on each of the creat Lakes, so e b an our excursion on Lake Superior Next we toured around Take llchigan Being close nlght tdere We saw a ever eaten much Ph nese paying our checks, whom corner, but the former to Battle Creek, we decided to snend the Chinese restaurant, and since none of us had food we dec ded to try it Just as we were should we se sitting at a little table in the Lols Trussell and her husband, Jack Slater lhen Lols and her nusband invited us to spend the n ght at their home we all acc nted without hesitation because mr funds were running short and we still had a long way to go The next mornlng we thanked Nr and hrs Slater for a most enjoyable VlSlt, and continued our tour of the lakes After tour ng Lake Ontar o, we consulted our road map and found that it Nasn't far to New York, scmwe decided we would go there and see the sights when we arrived in New York, we heard that the Queen Nary as preparing to sail We thought it would oe interesting to explore the loading docks and latch the ships leave harbor Arriving at the docks we were surnrlsed to see another of our school mates, Buddy Redmond, preparlng to ascend the gang plank We hurried and stopped le VlUb on the Queen Dary for Parls, where he will attend Art School Since the ship was nearly ready to sail, we left Buddy, wishing him much success Upon leaving New York, we decided to tour the South We stooped in Rockholt, Kentucky for lunch After we succeeded in finding a place to park, we were stunned when we saw our old friend Bob Stinson walk ing down the street We hailed him down and ask him what he was do ing in Rockholt He told us he was making a short visit with his re latives before resuming his coaching at Texas University Inviting him to eat lunch with us, we had an enjoyable Vlslt After a while, ve decided we had better get started on our homeward journey Je bade Bob good bye and started back to our car hen we ,ot as far as Vnnoria it was about dark e decided to see what shows were playiny le saw a sho: we thought we would like so we topped Just as we were gomng into the theater we saw our old scdoolmate, Marguerite Hoel andher fiancee Marguerite told us she was teaching the third rled in the spring guerite happiness ho e Ve were a l oeHlOTS dolng so well We, the present this We, the they can use We, the food so they We, the sandpaper all We, the together. We and fourth grades at nmpor1a They olar to be mar of 1963 Since it was getting late, we wished Mar and went to the show After the show, we returned very tired, but we were happy to have found the '52 Class Will Senior Class of 1952, being of sound mind and memories, as our last will and testament Senlors, will to the teachers, their shot gun tests so them again next year Seniors, will to the cooks, our ability to eat a lot of will be kept busy next year some sandpaper so he can Seniors, will to the janitor of our initials off the desks our ability to get along Seniors, will to the Juniors hear they could really use it.
