DEDICATIO MR. RAYMOND WELCH As we progress from freshmen to seniors, our lives have been influenced by many people. Prominent in our minds stands one whom we, the class of 1964, wish to single out for his industry and talent - Mr. Raymond Welch. Throughout our four years Mr. Welch has worked dili- gently to supplement and improve our education with the addition of music to our lives. As he moves from the crisp, cheery sound of the band on the football field to the mel- low tones of the concert band, Mr. Welch proves his in- finite versatility. He has given freely of his time and pa- tience to enable us to reap the re- wards of rich and fulfilling years at RVRHS. To you Mr. Welch, we give our heartfelt gratitude and de- dicate to you the 1964 RED OAK. 3

We learned to apply our knowledge and strive for higher goals. In this pursuit we were guided by words of wise and noble people. This year's RED OAK features Words of Wisdomi' as its theme. Throughout the book you will read quotes of wisdom. It is hoped that while reading the 1964 RED OAK, you will remember and be inspired by this advice, and that you will strive to carry on your education and enrich your life.
