To involve theater students in extracurricu- lar DRAMA activities . . This is the goal of the Dramatic Arts Organization who tries to help the more involved students work more closely with drama. Ronald Iohns the director for 11 years stated that, This has been a really good year and the club improves annually. He went on, As long as its leadership is strong the club is strong. This year's leaders are: Karen Romano, Felecia Price, IoAnn Williams and Robin Cobb. There are forty members who once a week meet together for DQ hours to practice in work- shops and to have competitions. Mr. Iohns selects casting and plays for the Story Theater Troup, a club that branched out from D.A.O., and the D.A.O. helps. The differ- ence between D.A.O. and the Story Theater Troup is that D.A.O. is a club for teaching and practicing while the Story Theater Troup is a group of about 20 members that put on per- formances for an audience. Arts group performs Officers of the Dramatic Arts Organization are: IoAnn Williams, Eddie Rodriquez, Fele- cia Price, Karen Romano, and Robin Cobb. This years D.A.O. members are: Front Row: Wendy Hardin, Karen Romano, Stan Armbruster, Tricia Garretson. F.B.L.A. Goes to Den er Many students who were interested in the field of business joined this association tF.B.L.A.J Future Business Leaders of America. The purpose of the club is to familiarize the stu- dents in the field of business. Members of F.B.L.A. were involved with many activities such as a membership drive, working on The March of Dimes walk-a-thon, parties, and various money raising projects. Along with their local duties, F.B.L.A. mem- bers went to conventions in Las Vegas, Nevada, ang the national conventions in Denver, Colo- ra o, The advisors of Future Business Leaders of America were: Mrs. Riedlinger, Mrs. Simms, Mrs. Lore, Mrs. Mickey.
