Each member is required to bring in difficult questions on Mon- day for practice material. The team consisting of 15 members, practices on speed and recall. The game is filmed on Thursday and is shown on Sunday. The questions the students are asked are based on history and current events. They participated in the 1976 Home- coming game with the Ram Band. With many hours of practice, they do routines to several different musical numbers. The squad, consist- ing of nine girls and two managers, was in the Zone Assembly as part of the presentation of colors. R.O.T.C. gains Honor Unit ., - i ., . . nn The Nevada 31st Reserve Officer Training Corps has obtained the Honor Unit Citation for the past two years. Only the top six percent of 5 schools who have R.O.T.C. received this high L award. The award is determined by the annual inspection by Maxwell A.F.B. which is the cen- ter of activity for all R.O.T.C. Units. For the year of 1977 R.O.T.C. took two field trips. One was its annual trip to Nellis A.F.B. to view the new additions of the 474 Tactical Fighter Wing. The other was to Edwards A.F.B. in the Spring where they learned many differ- ent aspects about the Air Force Flight Test Cen- ter. The Color Guard, Drum and Bugle Corps, Rifle Team, and the Drill Proficiency Team are a few specialized groups that The R.O.T.C. Unit 3 supplies to cadets.
