l Pep Club sho s spirit the Clubsca If ever you're looking for someone with enthusiasm and excitement, look in the direc- tion of Pep Club, you're sure to find it. With approximately 70 members, the club has sup- ported Rancho at countless assemblies and sports events. They also sponsored the Sweet- heart's Ball and held fund-raising projects such as button sales and a carnation sale for Valen- tine's. These projects not only provided finan- cial aid, but helped to spark interest within the student body. A new tradition was unleashed by the Pep Club this year. The spirit can, painted bright yellow and green, appeared at pep rallies and games. The can contained all the spirit needed for a pep-filled game and needed only to be released by lifting the lid. According to President Tori Thompson, this has been a rowdy, but spirited group. Spirit is always high where the Pep Club is concerned, as is shown by the Officers, Front Row: Mary Io Wegman, Secretary. Row two: lay Saunders, Publicity Chair- mang Sally Gillitzer, Spirit Manager: Marvin Heath, Yell Leader. Row three: Debbie DeMauriez, Historian: Theresa Gillitzer, Treasurerg Tori Thompson, President. Row four: Babbie Lewis, Sergeant-at-arms: Tammy DeMaureiz, Vice-President.

The Iudiciary Club has been kept busy this year with many projects and business ordeals. The first event they started with was the disa- greement between students and the way the election for Ski Club Officers was held. It was believed that the election was not handled according to regulation rules. A trial was made and a re-election forced. After all was over, rel- ations between each were kept on an equal basis. The second event was the choosing of Snow- ball King and Queen. Iudiciary was in charge of sending out balots and counting them upon return. They also were to be sure that as many students as possible ved in it. At the end of the year they oversaw the 1977- 1978 Student Body Officers elections, keeping it on time and in order. This is a very important organization, formed by students interested in the school and its inner business, that is used as a check on the power of Student Council. It divides the power into equal portions. If someone wanted an offi- cer impeached, this club would be the only one that could do it. As Susan Finch stated, This is a very unusual and interesting club, unlike any other on campus. I really enjoy being a member.
