Leonard Cash, Randy Pridemore, Stan Armbruster and Kandie Smith are all members of the Rancho High Drama Department. Shown rehearsing their scripts for Our Town are Eddie Rodriguez, Felicia Price, Iudy Waller and Tom Downing. Once in awhile it's refreshing to look at a style of American life where people seemed to take life easy. The core of their lives were as complex as ours, but the anxiety of a fast changing society and culture hadn't affected them as yet. We see their lives stripped to the essentials to growing up, falling in love, getting married, and dying. We experience these life elements with the people of Grover's Corner, and we have a chance to look at our own lives and reflect. It is worth doing, once in awhile. The action of the play occurs in and around Grover's Corners, New Hampshire. The time covers 1901-1913. Steve Wallace tries to put a ping pong ball in the box. Assemblies are vibrant The assemblies this year ranged in a wide variety of activites. Everyone was involved including Pep Club, Cheerleaders, Songleaders and all of the other performers. In the early fall the Cheerleaders and Son- gleaders combined their talents to provide us with a show of the rules and regulations. Then later the Iunior Varsity and the Varsity Cheer- leaders comically did the 12 years of school done to the Christmas song Twelve Days of Christmas. The Songleaders proved again and again their skills in doing numerous song and dance routines. C There were crazy games and acts in every assembly, such as beard growing contest, arm wrestling, and even rate a kiss game. One of the most popular games was seeing who could sit on a block of ice the longest. 46 Fall Assemblies school. .flaw ' 4 .
