Committees aid Rancho Student Council had many committees such as dance, assembly, Public Service Project Committee and Publicity. The Dance Committee planned dances such as an after game dance, Snowball and a Com- puter Dating dance. The Assembly Committee organized assem- blies. Some of them were The Quicksilvers, Cel- ebration and many pep assemblies. The Publicity made signs for games, announcements and the radio show at lunch in the Student Union. Public Service Project Committee partici- pated in community functions. Student Council should be a line of commu- nication between students, faculty and Student Body Leaders, stated Mr. Student Activ- ity Director. Showing concern. Pla da is Senior fun In an atmosphere of story book characters, the Senior class dressed up for Senior Playday. During both lunch periods, costume contests were held to select the best and most original costume. The contest was held in the Student Union where first-place winner, Trudy Miles, received a free yearbook as her prize. Senior Mixer, the traditional dance, was held in the Student Union later that evening. 1 v For the most original costume, who won a free yearbook is Trudy Miles, showing off her clown suit.
