26 Homecoming l Homecoming is festive This year Rancho had a very successful homecoming. Winning the football game against Eldorado made it even more meaning- ful. A funfilled week was highlighted with many activities such as crazy hat day, the arm wres- tling contest, sexy legs contest, crazy T-shirt day and the traditional mourning day, bug race and candlelight rally. Iamie. Bell, Homecoming Queen, was crowned at an assembly and reigned for a week prior to the game against Eldorado. , Diana Fidler shows her spirit during Crazy Hat Day by participating along with many students, Y Smrfwat One of the many activities during Homecoming week was the bug race. Participating in this event were Iohnny Delprado, Mike Tietien, Ieff Biersted, Perry Swanson and Dave Girling. Showing his better half, is Mike Morgan in the sexy leg contest.

Before the game, the traditional parade was held in North Las Vegas at 11 am. The ROTC colorguard, the Ram Band, Rancheros, cheer- leaders, songleaders, clubs and organizations and, of course, all of the class floats partici- pated in the parade. At the game, the winners of the floats were announced.The junior class took sweepstakes while sophomores took first place. Pep Club placed first in the clubs and organizations divi- sion. Iamie Bell, homecoming queen, and her six attendants, Beverly Boucher, Sandra Dixon, Iris Iones, Laura Lopez, Rosa Lozano and Cheryl Tasker all rode in Corvettes through the parade. Mrs. Marjorie Arenaz was selected as Mis- tress of Ceremonies and she too rode in the parade. 7' 'S Marching in the annual Homecoming Parade, held in North Las Vegas, is the Ram Band. if i. fr' 34.1.
