Being the top executive on a campus of 2700 students and over 100 faculty members requires these attributes and more. Principal Mario Monaco has held that position for five years, not only handling business matters, but also taking the time to meet a large percentage of the student body personally. Sel- dom is there an activity on or off campus which he doesn't attend for a few minutes at least. During the year, under the guidance of Mr. Monaco, many projects have been accomplished. A new weight room was added. The Home Ec wing was renovated with the addition of a chil- dren's center. Also added was a new typing cen- ,......., ter. Signs boasting You're in Ram Country and Ram On decorated the campus buildings. A Ram mural displaying the Alma Mater and Fight Song was hung in the gym. These projects took many hours of student cooperation. According to Mr. Monaco, the biggest problem faced by the administration was attendance. Mr. Monaco expressed the fact he would like to see better attendance . According to Mr. Monaco, 1977 was a year of 1nore student involvement and felt it was as good a year, if not the best. Our top executive felt this years' students took a lot more pride in their education. Mario Monaco 205
