18 Student Body Officers Leaders are enthusiastic The student body officers, a group of young adults trying to make their school better, was very prominent this year in making the school year exciting. The officers were very interested in the stu- dents of Rancho: they passed out question- naires, and listened to everyone's problems, questions or suggestions. They were very active in the Homecoming festivities and wanted everyone to participate in the many activities and different contests that were planned. These were beard growing contests, bubblegum blowing, the ever popular bug races and the Homecoming Parade - a week long celebration. . In the beginning of the '76-'77 school year, the officers' main goal was to raise school spirit and morale. The student body officers helped to make the three murals painted on the walls happen and planned one for the gym. They also worked on a new P.A. system for the gym and hoped to remodel the Little Theater.
