A good start is essential, as the Rams show, pushing for the lead I Runners go to State Rancho's Cross Country team, coached by William O'Dea, finished the season on the right foot. They ended their dual meets with a 11-2 record being beaten by only Western and Clark. The team ranked third in the zone meet which qualified them to go to State where they placed sixth. The team consisted of eight hard working, dedicated runners. The Bower brothers, Steve, senior, and Brent, sophomore, were the number one and number two runners on the team. But Coach O'Dea credited all the runners with a great season. Coach O'Dea stated, We had a lot of new talent on the team this year, and most of the boys have one to two years left to run.
