110 Drill Team Drill team dazzles e e Drilling can be fun, at least that's what the Rancheros feel. Each day at 7 a.m., the twenty-two members of the team under the direction of advisor. Patricia Emmett, and captain Lori Pope, prac- tice forthe various routines they perform. The Rancheros have taken first place in com- petition at the Convention Center, and also in the North Las Vegas Christmas parade. Our drill team also traveled to California to com- pete. The drill team performed with liveliness to various music such as Shaft, Rollerball, and Round-a-bout. The Rancheros have helped lift school spir- its and support Rancho, said Diana Lara. The drill team could be seen performing at assem- blies and games this year. As the Rancheros dance to Shaft they exhibit their flexibility and coordination. The Rancheros march in the gymnasium to perform for and faculty during an assembly. At assembly, Drill Team shows movement and liveliness during performance.
