A junior secretly watches the senior activities and thinks, and often says, how well his class will do those things when he is a senior. A junior's chief irritation is a freshmang he silently tolerates sophomoresg and as for seniors-well, let them have their fun, but wait until next year. The loyalty of the class insures that its activities will be well done and equally well supported. The Junior Prom is the most memorable event of the year, and the junior puts hours of effort into making the prom the best ever. To help finance the Prom, the class sponsors the Sadie Hawkins Dance for the school in the fall. The Assembly is carefully planned and presented to the student body. The '57-'58 juniors had to surpass the success and quality of the assemblies they produced the two previous years. When the end of the year draws close and Graduation nears, even the most confi- dent of juniors wonders what the coming year will bring and cautiously admits that perhaps the year's seniors were all right after all. But, confidence recovered, the junior exuberantly leaves Rancho's corridors only dimly considering the coming year. . MR. BEN CHICHESTER
