. All ,- ,, 1: Mas. BARBARA s1LANo ,gs is, Advisor 1' .13 ' 'lf Advisor The sophomore returns to school in the fall anticipating the year, Wondering what new friends and experiences will be his in this year to come. Observing his schedule, he wonders if the classes are as rough as they look . . . Biology, 254, Geometry, 141g P.E., Gym, Typing, 245, Study Hall, 221. Good! Then, pushing such thoughts aside, he looks for the friends he made last year, idly wondering if they are the same. Talk- ing with the kids he knows, he concludes that there sure are a lot of freshmen, and last year he certainly never acted like they do. The sophomore year is one of belonging to committees, working on dances, especial- ly the Sophomore Hop, and producing the Class Assembly. Because of this the sophomore year is one of achievement. The sophomore awaits becoming an upperclass- man, if not with patience, with the realization that there are many activities and pro- jects which can be worked on this year. Many, in acceptance of the delay, work dili- gently and earnestly. Others go their usual ways-sliding through. This year,s sophomore class had many Willing workers, and they accomplished a great deal in 1957-58. MR. SAM VERBITSKY
