A I I K . . rrrrrrrrr , - ,wuwwu was i in wgiiw w My wx , glilnior boys and girls are chosen fin this spring to represent Rancho at Girls' and Boys' State held in June of that year. The delegates meet with others from every high school in Nevada and proceed to form parties and set up city and county govern- ments. For a week they govern their states. At Girls, State, held in Reno on the University of Nebraska Campus, Ricky Goheli was elected Lt. Governor, and all the girls did well in party business. Boys' State, held at Rancho for the first time, was the scene where the boys set up their state and passed laws to govern it. Delegates agree that this was a wonderful experience in learning how city and state governments function and in forming new friendships.
