Clubs, classes and individuals come to them to have posters, scenery, and many other items painted. This year an active group of members presented an as- sembly, '6Art Through The Agesf, held a colorful initiation, and acted as hosts for the art exhibit held at Rancho. ln Art Guild, students have a chance to perform many activities which would be impractical for regular classroom work. Such activities as sponsoring, producing and pre- senting plays occupied the time of the Purple Mask. Thespians were the sponsors of the plays produced at noon in Little Theatre for the student body. They also were in charge of the production of the School Play. For their Spring Assembly members presented an old melodrama, The Drunkardf' They were also represented at the State Forensic Meet.
