Dance Club began its year by selecting new members. From that time on the meet- ings were spent in prepara- tion for the Dance Club As- sembly which was The His- tory of the Dance. After they had decided on the theme and the types of dances to be used the mem- bers did their own choreo- graphy and designed their costumes. An original and ef- fective use of scenery was devised for the Assembly. The assembly presented this year well rewarded them for their efforts, as it was recognized as one of the year's best. The Club is the official wel- coming committee at Rancho. Under the able direction of its Executive Board, Honor Club began a year of varied activities and meetings. The club's entrance requirements are based on grade points earned throughout the year, and a constant effort is necessary to retain membership. Members are proud of their achievement knowing that only a few of the students meet the requirements.
