Generally friendly and sociable by nature, a student joins with others who share his interests and together they organize a club. The club may be educational, strictly for fun, or meant to be of service to the school and community. At all club meetings, parties, money raising projects, club activities, are chief topics of discussion. Vlfith interest as a common bond, students come to know each other better than is possible in ordinary classroom situations. Through sharing experiences, solving problems, and just socializing, each member gains a little insight and knowledge which may benefit him in the unknown days to come.

I IX M TOMEf JONES , p President l if W was ERC Jsmfign 1,5 Miss MARILYN Mcclxaiaiglll ees JUDY ROBINSON Vice President sl!-.5 lr V I JILL JENSEN I Secretary 4 RICKY GOBELI ' Treasurer PAT FREER Publicity Chairman l 2 I G.R.A. concluded a very successful year with an Awards Banquet. Looking back, '3 the girls remembered the many Monday evenings spent in G.R.A. playing volleyball, ll basketball, softball, and racking up some scores at bowling, tennis, and badminton. Q Tumbling, track, and dancing came in for a share of participation. 'l Sitting at the banquet, the girls can now laugh at their many mistakes, Miss Mc- A Claren's kidding, their lost points, and their harried efforts on the club's first as- sembly. When the last moments drew close to the presentation of awards and the F' announcing of new officers, girls became silente-a little sad. Especially so were the Senior members who realize that these will be their last associations with Miss Mc- Claren andgperhaps, with each other. As evidence to the success of the G.R.A. was the necessity of holding a meeting for the near-fifty freshman members on Fridays. IO6
