ELMER CHOWNING Preszdent 'VIR JACK FISH Advisor JUDY TO MRS JANE KOLB MSIK A dvzsor Vice President Here come the Clowns' they scatter across the lots each attempting to outdo the other . . . round and round the colorful characters frollc . . . drawing the attention of all by their playful antics, crazy props and unusual face make-up . . . after their routines, they exit . . . hurrying to Clown Alley, the dressing room, they prepare for the next appearance. The largest class at Rancho seated on the east side of the gym, outchanted every- one at the Pep Assembly. Woeful cries from the Upperclassmen were heard, as they asked, How are we ever supposed to win that Pep Jug? Not only were the Fresh- men united in voice, but also in class spirit, as they literally packed the Little Theater for the Freshman Frolic. The entire class, including the busy officers, were greeted with piles of homework, as they enterd such classes as Algebra, Gen- eral Science, Social Studies and Physical Education. Ending a very eventful first year, the more experienced Freshman looks forward to three more terrific years at Rancho.
