We began with the best of intentions to predict the futuies of the members of the Senior class. However, our crystal ball blew a fuse, and instead of focusing in on the 1980's, it showed us the l890's. Strangely enough, we saw Vaqueros as they would have been had they lived in days gone by. We made notes of what the crystal ball revealed, and now here they are for all of you to see. Laurie Bennett would have been a mortician's wife. Dennis Kelly would have been a policeman who sang to his wife and nine children. John Aguire would have been a librarian whose pride and joy was the library's complete set of Shake- speare. Pat Patton would have run a boarding house. Jorn Thygesen would have delivered Western Union Telegrams. Roger Guyer, Bob Hale, and Marshall Lane would have been the butcher, the baker, and the candle- stick maker. Molly Goodman would have been the schoolmarm. Janet Cox would have brought Teacher a big red apple every day, but . . . Jeanne Hodson would have been teacher's pet. Bob Armstrong would have been the typical schoolboy with the typical shiner. Jack Long would have been a traveling corset salesman. Nancy Crawford, Cecelia Demeneces and Johnnie Rae Barnett would have all run away to become Flora Dora girls, Dorman George would have been parson of the Little White Church on the Hill. DeeAnn Stevenson would have been the sweet young thing in the front pew come Sunday, and . . . Vicki Rausch would have sat next to her. Barbara Hynes would have run a school for wayward girls. Tom Howard would have run a school for wayward boys. Sandra Macpherson would have been president of the Womens' Christian Temperance Union. Tim Jones would have beat the drum for the Salvation Army. Mary Ellen Moore would have been a Sulfragette. Dave Reid would have been a professional gambler. Alan Lazarus would have been a circuit judge. Linda Nelson would have been one of the first bloomer girls. Anabel Coffin would have been the Clabber Girl. The Crew would have taken over Standard Oil. Roger Pool would have been head of the City Sanitation Department. , Rita. Bernstein would have been chairman of the local Ladies' Aid. whit Gary Hill would have been the proud owner of the surrey with the fringe on top. Ron Colburn would have made buggy whips. Sandy Edwards would have been a bird in a gilded cage. Bill Rhodes would have edited the local newspaper, and . . . Gail Leiter would have written the gossip column. Gary Anderson would have been a shoe shine boy. Craig Duff would have been the daring young man on the flying trapeze.
