TDE TS Sandy Edwards, senior, represented Rancho last sum- mer in Skage, Norway. Last year Sandy, along with many other students, was interviewed. From those inter- viewed, sixteen were chosen. They then wrote an essay about themselves and why they wanted to be an exchange student. From the essays four were chosen and their records and essays sent to New York. Sandy found out in May that she had been chosen from Rancho. She spent all summer there. She saw many beautiful scenes among them the never setting sun of Norway. Sandy is very active in school this year as song leader. She is also a commissioner, student council, A.F.S. club and Golden Spur. Sandy loves Rancho and is very popular. She spends most of her time studying because to her good grades come first. She spends the rest of her time song leading Rancho to victory.
