The Girls' League of Rancho has all the girls in school enrolled in its organiza- tion. its purposes are to promote friendliness, courtesy of speech and manner, and good taste in dressing habits. One of the big proiects undertaken by this year's Girls' League was the Co-ed. Another task that involves a lot of work is screening girls for the election of new Girls' League officers. The work of the Board is not limited merely to handing out penalties. It acts as a fact-gathering group, hear- ing complaints, considering problems, and Trying to help students get straightened out through sensible consid- eration and discussion, even though it has the a-uthority to give demerits. Ron Guyer does his best to answer all the questions asked at the Commissioners' meeting. This year's members have led an active Board. They have a staff of over 150 commissioners and called staff meetings at least once a month. Board members Hermein Seymour, Anna Harris - Clerk, Ron Guyer - Chairman, Bob Mitchell, and Leon Omwake ask the offender, Why did you do it? ,nu M. fi Oh, you can't remember your name? states Pat Watson. They organized a fashion show for entertainment with the clothes modeled by girls in the Student Body. After the Mother Daughter Tea they made plans for the Big and Little Sister Day to be held in September.
