The cast presents a gift to their director and the curtain goes down for the last time. gags if you The Junior Class play represented another success for Rancho. A total of 900 attended the three performances for a profit of 35325. Everyone sighed with relief and then broke into pande- monium at the final curtain. Rushing downstairs to change, the cast indulged in a cold cream throwing contest. A party was held in the choral room of G.G. H.S. ln the middle ofthe party, a J-Man came to tell the cast that they couldn't leave until the fog lifted - which was about three o'clock in the morning. Tragedy nearly struck Tony Bykerk and Sheila Neathery, who were standing by the dinner table when from above came a shout, Look out below! A 20-lb. weight came crashing down, glancing off Tony's hand and barely missing Sheila.
