Bonnie Chandler Sophomore team prepares to help teammates return the ball to Huntington Beach in Volleyball Manager Volleyball playday. Every player is trying her best to support her team against Huntington Beach. fuoffgygaff G.A.A. went to the Laguna Volley- ball Playday March T7 anol T8. The seniors and iuniors were accompan- ied by Miss Muriel Danielson and Miss Dorothy Lampe. They played Anaheim. On March 18 the sopho- mores anal freshmen, with Miss Dan- ilson and Mrs. Frances Beyers, went to their playclay. The Sophomore I team won one oftheir games against Anaheim, and the Sophomore ll team lost to Huntington Beach, Both Freshmen teams won one game against Laguna, but lost the match. Every girl waits to return ball when it comes her way. 1

The Girls' Athletic Association promotes a spirit of friendliness and good sportsmanship. They play a varied list of sports such as volley- ball, basketball, baseball, tennis, hockey, and badminton. Membership went over 200 because of def- inite classes being created for G.A.A. Activities during the year included the annual G.A.A. pot- luck and play days.
