EI don uisfacfoz Planning, checking, and riting copy, taking pictures and taking care of all the extra details involved in publishing a 200- page book were the iobs handled by the 1959 El Conquistador staff. The editor, Sue Sherman, and the assistant editor, Joyce Garon, were in charge of the overall planning and checking of the book. The business manager, Jan Land, was in charge of obtain- ing ods. Class editor, Pat Crenshaw, planned the class section with the help of Jan Land. Student Government was planned by Charlotte Bringle. ' The sports section was planned by Linda Hanover, assisted . by Don Dickerson. Mr. David Young was photo advisor and the photographers were: Don Dickerson, Jim O'Brien, Gary Ruben, Chuck Stevenson, and Jimmie Currie. Tony Afdahl, editor-in-chief, is supervisor for La Voz. Sharon Langstraat, news editor, checks all the news articles and lays out page 1 of the newspaper. Anne Froman, feature editor, plans page 3 and writes fea- ture stories. Mike Robinson, sports editor, writes Man to Man and plans the sports section.
