Editors Postsczyvt Much has happened since the last land firstl edition of EI Conquistador. We hope this annual will remind you of all the fun you had this year. We tried to take pic- tures to cover as many phases of school life as possible. Since memories alone are incapable of holding all the aspects of the 1957-58 school year, this book will live. The book will live until it is consumed by some hungry, old trunk in a corner of the attic. Even then the book will not be dead. While trapped in this dark and musty prison it maintains a terrific amount of potential energy which bursts out in a maze of colorful and prec- ious memories whenever the book is re-opened. Now my iob as editor is finished, except to express my sincere appreciation to all who helped make this a memorable book. Special thanks go to Reggie Woods, our cartoonist, Dick Rohweder and Mike Reedy, photographers, Pat Crenshaw, business manager, Tony Afdahl, sports editor, and Lynn Myers, copy editor, for all the hours of work they did. - Thanks also to Jan Land, Sue Allen, Linda Huggins, Melvina Howard, Judy Reed, Linda Hanover, Sheryl An- derson, Mike Robinson, Sandy Finley, Ron White, .lo Ann Luthin, Valerie Ball, and Judy Harker, who each helped in some way. To you, Miss Coxson, I would like to extend the staff's and my most sincere thanks and gratitude. It has been hard work, but a.lso fun putting out this book.
