QQ BOARD OF FDUCATION Mr Robert Carr Trustee Mr C1eorg,,e Seaherg, Trustee Mr Emmet Williams Superin tendent of Schools Mr Herbert Ostergren Chairman Mr Theodore Schultz Clerk Mr Charles Moser Treasurer Miss Marjorie Hamlin Admmistratne Assistant Mrs Violet Bedbury Trustee ADMI ISTR TIO REPRESENTING OUR The administration is an important factor in maintaining a school They are responsible for carrying out the plans for operating the many different departments Approximately fifteen hundred students attend Ramsey requiring the teachers and staff to put in considerably more than an eight hour day The district offices are located here at Ramsey, which IS the largest school in the district Included in the district are ten elementary schools, one junior high school and one senlor high school Ramsey s guidance personnel are in charge of assisting students in making out their class Sched ules and helping them to decide what courses they are most suited to take. The district is fortunate in hating many special programs for students including the Federal Lunch Plate Program, speech therapy, and out- standing vocal and instrumental departments. MR. Included in the plans for the immediate future is a new junior high school, and eventually a new senior high school or an addition to Ramsey. School Superintendent Emmet Williams is not an unfamiliar sight in the halls and classrooms of Ramsey. He is in charge of the entire school dis- trict, directing the operation and functions of all the schools in the district. The duties of Principal Curtis johnson are varied. He is in charge of the school personnel and staff, and it is his duty to see that the students gain as much as possible in their four years at Ramsey. Ramsey is fortunate in having John Torgelson as its new assistant principal.
