V4 1 L- Q '. lil, .,--ff l I fembr On November 21, 1959, the Senior Class presented its play, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. The play was under the direction of Miss Theander, the faculty advisor, and Allene Long, the student director. The play was a new ver- sion of one of the most humorous books ever written. It is often said that the only way to learn is by experimenting, and that is precisely what a bright new engineer named Hank always seems to be doing-experimenting. As fate will have it, one experiment is just a little too potent and our Connecticut Yankee knocks himself out cold. 'When the curtain rises again, Hank awakes to discover that he is no longer in Connecticut, hut in the court of King Arthur. Trouble arises immediately as Hank attempts to contrast the old with the new, the result is an enormously funny series of events and a most entertaining play. ,cas .E uri 'L , K--f am, ...' i,,,,, l A -' - ,. v.. ...Lil lc, A M Play THE CAST INCLUDED: EHIHIIQ Bennett TOM ZARATKIEWICZ Marion , . Though they aren't experts or pros they do play a very good game. The boys should have a very successful year, playing such schools as Ridgewood, Wayne, River Dell, Pascack Valley and Hawthorne. Coached by Mr. Louis Caputi the team has only two returning letter-men, Rich Kirvan and Frank Davies. The other members of the team are Mark Hampton, Ray Ward, Pete Wood and Russ Spahr. 3 fb -'Y TENNIS Under the able instruction of Mr, Knute Kurek, the Ramsey High tennis team has great hopes for the coming season. Al- though there are no retuming lettermen this year, the boys are confident that they will come out on top when they play West- wood, Northern Valley, Ramapo, Pascack, River Dell, Fairlawn, Midland Park, Glen Rock and Butler.
