Coaches Stormo and Schroeder do a take- The Cheerleaders perform their skit which was dedicated as their off on the Pop, Pop, Fizz, Fizz fight song. Commercial during the teachers' skit at the Homecoming Variety Show. The night of the actual Jimmy Carter-Cerald Ford debate was the night of the Homecoming Variety Show. The Ramona teachers decided to present the debate so that the folks who attended the show wouldn't miss out on valuable political information. Below: Prin. Robert Arend pro- trays Carter, and Supt. Fuhr acts the part of Ford. The other teach- ers acted as members rtf the press and furnished the com- mercial breaks. It's Fifties' Day all the way, but only at Ramona during Homecoming Week as shown by Cherie Manthey and Dawn Bunker. Claudia Deneke shows typical farmer attire during the Farmers and 50's Days. The Fonz comes to Ramona School during the 50's Day, alias Paul Schulte.

Greg Cassutt and Kathy Palli reigned as king and queen over the 1976-1977 Homecoming festivities Greg and Kathy Reign Over Homecoming Homecoming week began with a number of activities to arouse student interest and enthusiasm. Monday was Senior Slave Day ; all underclassmen fetched and carried for the seniors. Tuesday was Hush Day ; all the girls were supposed to not talk all day-if possible! Wednesday was Lick 'em Day ; suckers were sold for 10$ a piece. Thursday was Farmers and 50's Day , and everyone dressed accordingly. That evening the cheerleaders sponsored a variety show which culminated in the crowning of the 1976-1977 Homecoming King and Queen. On Friday, Red and Black Day , the faculty and students were treated to a weiner roast and watermelon feed fol- lowed by games outdoors in the afternoon. The Ramona Rockets easily defeated the Carthage Eagles 26-6 in the Homecoming game that evening. Left: Dick Struwe and Lisa Andersen host the 1976-1977 Homecoming Variety Show.
