Greg Cassutt and Kathy Palli reigned as king and queen over the 1976-1977 Homecoming festivities Greg and Kathy Reign Over Homecoming Homecoming week began with a number of activities to arouse student interest and enthusiasm. Monday was Senior Slave Day ; all underclassmen fetched and carried for the seniors. Tuesday was Hush Day ; all the girls were supposed to not talk all day-if possible! Wednesday was Lick 'em Day ; suckers were sold for 10$ a piece. Thursday was Farmers and 50's Day , and everyone dressed accordingly. That evening the cheerleaders sponsored a variety show which culminated in the crowning of the 1976-1977 Homecoming King and Queen. On Friday, Red and Black Day , the faculty and students were treated to a weiner roast and watermelon feed fol- lowed by games outdoors in the afternoon. The Ramona Rockets easily defeated the Carthage Eagles 26-6 in the Homecoming game that evening. Left: Dick Struwe and Lisa Andersen host the 1976-1977 Homecoming Variety Show.
