FRIDA YS! What do pep assemblies, class competitions, class meetings, and dances have in common? FRIDAY!! The whole idea of Friday is to increase school spirit, and what better way to do that then to dress up in colors that only fellow Bulldogs can appreci- ate? Red, White, and Blue covered the campus, not only by the football players and the various pep squads, but also by fellow students. As Senior Vice-President Dawne Peck commented, “Pep assemblies get me excited for the big game.” Everyone is hyper and more outgoing on Fridays because of the shortened periods, a game, or whatever the weekend promises. For Jose Llamas, a sophomore, “Friday is a day to party!” Our new principal, Mr. Roulsten, planned many great ideas to get school spirit soaring. Faculty found it quite exciting to be a part of it and they even put together new clubs. Many students met once a month for various clubs. More serious students chose chess, science action, or the French clubs to suit their needs. The more outgoing, relaxed students looked forward to the ski, pep, or surf clubs. But whatever club they joined, it was just another example of their great school spirit. Fridays were sure days to remember, whether we were some screaming fans in the crowd or some of those people dancing up a storm. Congratula- tions Bulldogs! We let our spirit shine through! 4

Take 45 ... LUnCH POMONA MlGH 2 What is so special about 11:35? Ask any student at Ramona High and you will instantly see a smile, followed by the reply, “That is when lunch begins!” Finally it’s 11:35. The anticipating students jump out of their fourth period chairs with only one thing on their minds... FOOD! Students are everywhere, eating, talking, being with friends, and just enjoying time out of class. Some students might even be studying for that dreaded fifth period exam. 45 minutes is the time designated for lunch, but is that enough time? Seniors Amber Groth and Jennifer Ritter believe that for the time they spend in class, 45 minutes is not enough time for lunch. On the other hand, Megan McConville believes that 45 minutes is plenty of time if you are staying on campus. On campus you have your choice of the Deli Stand, lunch line, student store, or brown lunch, if they have a lunch pass. Freshman Jeff Hartwig doesn’t think it’s fair that freshman and sophomores can’t go off campus. Well guys, now you have something to look forward to when you are juniors. Dustin Wood, a junior, often likes to go to 7 11 during lunch, while Junior Torres, a senior, thinks Jack-in-the-Box is the place to go. So whether you are off campus or on ... take 45- and EAT!!!!
