Forever Friends Friendship is a very important thing in high school. Mishel Kathawa says her best friend Heather Wilfong is the best friend she’s ever had. They have been friends for about one year, and the closeness they’ve shared has proved their friendship long- lasting. Their friendship is based on trust, communication, and honesty. Some people have a best friend to talk and share deep secrets and concerns with. Others have just friends to hang out with. Bill Fallaw has a lot of fun cruising around with his best friend Abe Tarango. Bill lends Abe money while Abe taxis Bill around. They have a lot of fun while each one is lending a helping hand to the other. Onion Cordoba and her best friend Terra Bailey like to have fun going to parties and playing sports together. Some friend- ships come in a triplet form. Three people get together and find it easier to have two special friends to talk and share their fun with, like Dianna Blair and her two best friends Holly Bisbikis and Sarah Waters. Dianna says that having two best friends has both advantages and disadvantages. Dianna and Holly share the same opinions and relate to one another well. Dianna and Sarah get into serious conversations where Sarah can share her feeling with Dianna and get the advice she needs. But when the three of them get together problems disappear and fun arises. Another idea on friendships is Gina Tamburrino’s outlook. She stated, “The best friend 1 have is my dad (Coach Tambo). He’s there for me to talk to with good or bad news. He’s someone 1 really love and can trust forever.” Friendships come with different opinions and different out- looks. But the main things that can hold a friendship together are love, trust, being able to relate to each other, and being there whenever a problem arises. VERY SIMPLY, EVERYBODY NEEDS A FRIEND!
