Did you ever notice how true Murphy s law is . . . especially on a Monday? Mondays have been called the worst day of the week just as Fridays have been termed the day for partying and having fun. It seemed that bad luck always found its way into Mondays: heavy homework assign- ments. couples breaking up. forgetting your books and keys. The school week started off on a Monday, that had to mean something. Have you ever heard of something good hap- pening on a Monday? Garfield said it perfect- ly when he stated. I hate Mondays. Fridays, on the other hand, were what we waited for during the other four days: foot- ball games, pep rallies, parties, fun and good times. School ended and weekends began at 2:00 p.m. Friday. Good times, friends, music and laughs all tied in with the wonderful day we called Friday. When it came to Monday vs. Friday, there was no comparison. Friday 9

Fashion has a large effect on High School students. The blue jean scene and polo shirts are guys fashion wear, while the girls are into belts and braclets, leather and lace, and fluorescence. One of the most popular dress styles is mod. Fashion effects the way we feel, the way we act, and the way we think.
