l nncipaf PERRY S. MORRIS 7 ice- JJrincipaf May we say Orchids to a mighty fine Senior Class, this year’s Annual Staff, and their advisors. There are four very important qualities for which every citizen is working during these disturbed days; Reason, Faith, Progress, and Courage. Leadership that is strong in our communities, state, and nation can in many ways determine future success in attaining these qualities. The results of a Gallup poll taken to find the most admired people in the world found the winners to be: President Eisenhower, Winston Churchill, and Douglas MacArthur. Students may wonder why these men are so admired. A careful check shows that they have striking similarities. They are resolute, strong, straightforward men. Each has sought God’s guidance—and said so to the world. Each went through a period of despair with the strength to achieve new stature. The leadership of all three has inspired faith and courage. As teachers and students, may we all obtain our inspiration from the Greatest Teacher and Leader of all time to whom so many look for guidance. HAROLD P. ROBERTS Secretaries
