While at the Navy Acad- emy, ENS Knight participated in lacrosse and rugby. He reported to his first duty station onboard USS RAMAGE CDDG 615 a few months prior to leav- ing on deployment, where he assumed the duties as ASWO tAnti-Submarine Warfare Ofticerj. ENS Knight later assumed the duties of First Lieutenant, just before completing the historic 232 day cruise.
